Well, it seemed me that that is exactly what he was alluding to.

It appears that the hon. Gentleman now accepts the fact that Mr Singh is a member of a banned organisation.

The hon. Gentleman suggests that this might be the case.

I am posing questions for the Minister to answer because I genuinely want to hear what the view of the British Government is on these points

This is vital, because if he has been denied legal representation, that is a denial of his human rights.
