Bob has received the data from Ballymore regarding their engagement with local residents. Despite claiming they have received over 23,000 visits to their consultation website, the data Ballymore used to claim that “70% of residents surveyed said they expected the plans to have a positive impact on Edgware” comes from just 377 residents from a select 4 postcodes!
Bob believes this demonstrates a very poor consultation and is an attempt to pre-determine the outcome by the applicants. Ballymore should retract their questionable statements and conduct a thorough, widespread consultation of all residents and local neighbourhoods.
Bob's own survey has almost double the number of responses, from nearly 7 times the number of postcodes and demonstrates there around 96% opposition to the Edgware Towers proposals! It is clear residents do not want a cluster of high-rise, high-density tower blocks built in Edgware. You can read Ballymore's "consultation" data below.
