Bob Blackman today launched his campaign to secure more funding for local schools and SEND students. Bob has been discussing plans with the Government and the London Borough of Harrow for several months to make sure Harrow receives more funding per pupil.
This would support hardworking teachers and ensure that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Since 2010, Bob has secured millions of pounds of extra funding for our local schools, including:
-
the rebuild of The Sacred Heart Language College
-
upgrades at Stanmore College
-
investment for Bentley Wood High School
-
new football facilities at Cedars Youth & Community Centre
During the launch, Bob Blackman said:
For many years, other politicians have promised to get "More Funding for Harrow Schools" or a new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) School for Harrow - with no success.
Now we have a real chance to change this!
