Stanburn Primary School: This morning Bob visited Stanburn Primary School in Belmont to meet the school's Pupil Parliament. During UK Parliament week they held school elections, mimicking the real life experience with a polling station and voting booths, voter ID cards, ballot sheets and ballot boxes. Having elected their representatives, the task today was to narrow down suggestions that students had submitted for improvements that could be made across the school. The final choices will now be put to a referendum of the school next term. Bob also took part in a Q&A with the students about his role as a Member of Parliament where they had many interesting questions!
