Bob asked the Leader of the House of Commons for a Parliamentary debate to be held on 19 April to commemorate the 101st anniversary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in India. Bob noted that while a debate had been held on the 100th anniversary, he is asking for one to be held this year to give the Government the opportunity to apologise on behalf of the British people for the massacre in India.
