Bob spoke to the Educations Secretary Gavin Williamson in Parliament, asking the Government to bring forward legislation which would enable Catholic sixth form schools to become academies. Bob noted that academies had been very successful and popular amongst other schools and urged the Government to give Catholic sixth forms the opportunity to convert to academy status with the legal protections they need.
