During a debate on the Fire Safety Bill, Bob praised the Government for trying to make progress on cladding remediation but called for measures to be put in place to ensure leaseholders do not have to pay for work to rectify problems which were not their fault. Bob stated that leaseholders should not have to pay a penny towards work on buildings they bought in the belief that they were safe and secure.
