Bob praised the Government for its Budget this week and expressed support for the measures in it to help the country recover from the pandemic.
Bob identified a number of areas however, where he feels the Government could go further. These included support for cladding remediation, addressing the number of renters in arrears, freezing the lifetime pensions allowance and compensation for the victims of the Equitable Life scandal. Bob also suggested that future Budgets should also include incentives for personal saving.
